As a New Yorker all his life, Joe Rumore has always loved the timeless value of the still image. He began his career in broadcast television, working on various documentary programs for PBS and then in later years in TV news programs. That previous career path of documentary and journalism parlayed into the photographer he is today.
Joe has a passion for the art of wedding photography. He strives to visually create a story of your wedding in a more realistic, emotional and artistic way.
Joe’s inspiration comes from all of the heart-felt moments that take place throughout a wedding day. He loves to capture the romance, playfulness, and unspoken connection between couples. He feels that images are often most beautiful and emotional when they are captured naturally, as they happen.

A good friend of mine needed some headshots of herself for her portfolio. So we played around in a few different locations (mostly in the office where she works) and came up with these stunning photos.
Here is a newborn I photographed a few weeks ago. Isn’t she beautiful. After the newborn session, we came up with a great birth announcement!
Lisa and Adam had a beautiful December wedding. Despite the frigid temperatures that day, the sky was blue and sun was shinning strong. After their church ceremony, they enjoyed their reception at the de Seversky Mansion in Old Westbury, NY. I love when couples are so relaxed with me… we have a great time taking...
I originally photographed PJ when he was a newborn for a custom-designed birth announcement almost two years ago. Now we a home photo session every year for the family’s holiday cards. Isn’t just a real cutie.
