As a New Yorker all his life, Joe Rumore has always loved the timeless value of the still image. He began his career in broadcast television, working on various documentary programs for PBS and then in later years in TV news programs. That previous career path of documentary and journalism parlayed into the photographer he is today.

Joe has a passion for the art of wedding photography. He strives to visually create a story of your wedding in a more realistic, emotional and artistic way.

Joe’s inspiration comes from all of the heart-felt moments that take place throughout a wedding day. He loves to capture the romance, playfulness, and unspoken connection between couples. He feels that images are often most beautiful and emotional when they are captured naturally, as they happen.

Last weekend we celebrated my god-daughter’s 4th birthday party with her friends from pre-school at the nature preserve. They learned about different animals and reptiles, got to pet some of them, and took a nature walk though the preserve. Of course, I HAD to shoot some portraits of her and her big sister, Isabella too – at least the weather was nice outside – for February in NY.
