As a New Yorker all his life, Joe Rumore has always loved the timeless value of the still image. He began his career in broadcast television, working on various documentary programs for PBS and then in later years in TV news programs. That previous career path of documentary and journalism parlayed into the photographer he is today.
Joe has a passion for the art of wedding photography. He strives to visually create a story of your wedding in a more realistic, emotional and artistic way.
Joe’s inspiration comes from all of the heart-felt moments that take place throughout a wedding day. He loves to capture the romance, playfulness, and unspoken connection between couples. He feels that images are often most beautiful and emotional when they are captured naturally, as they happen.
Every photographer enjoys seeing his or her work published. It’s really a great feeling – both humbling and thrilling. So, when my good friend Jill (a TV Traffic Reporter for WPIX in NY) found out that she was going to be featured in the magazine, she called me to be her photographer. Thank you Jill!
